The Friends of Forestry Political Action Committee's successful golf tournament at Taberna Country Club will not be held this year due to the economic downturn.

Organizers of this tournament hope to host the tournament in 2010. All of the proceeds of this tournament will go to the Friends of Forestry Political Action Committee.

Over the past four years, this tournament has become a popular event with NCFA members and their guests. Team captains are responsible for assembling a foursome to play in the tournament. A dinner is served after the tournament and prizes are awarded for top teams and individual performances.
