he North Carolina Forestry Association believes that education is one of the most important components to sustaining the long-term health of North Carolina's forests.

The NCFA's Public Education Initiative, which is funded by NCFA members, offers programs for both professionals in the forest products industry, namely the ProLogger program, as well as the general public through environmental camps for students, teacher workshops and environmental materials.

The NCFA's Forest Education and Conservation Foundation will be sponsoring four workshops for landowners this spring that will explore the various options for landowners when it comes to working forest easements. Click here for a registration brochure. The dates for the workshops are as follows:
