he North Carolina Forestry Association believes that education is one of the most important components to sustaining the long-term health of North Carolina's forests. The NCFA's Public Education Initiative offers programs for both professionals in the forest products industry as well as the general public.

For professionals, the NCFA offers programs that provides training courses for safety and environmental education.

The NCFA reaches out to the general public through its Forestry and Environmental Camps, Project Learning Tree, classroom visits as well as through various workshops for landowners.

All of these programs, as well as the NCFA'S Annual Meeting, offer continuing education credit.
