Continuing Education Requirements for ProLogger

A continuing education element (CFE) was added to the NCFA's ProLogger Program in 2002, requiring all ProLoggers to take courses to maintain their status as a ProLogger.

The courses for the ProLogger program are developed and implemented through the North Carolina State Implementation Committee (NC SIC) and the Safety, Logging and Transportation Committee (SLTC).

By requiring this annual coursework, the NCFA hopes to supply loggers with the best available information concerning safety, business and the environment in North Carolina.

The current requirements for all ProLoggers:
The ProLogger “year” runs from June 30 -July 1. One course, Module 8 in 2008, is required from June 30-July 1 and a ProLogger must pay $100 dues by July 31st. Failure to complete either of these requirements will drop a ProLogger out of the database. Once outside of the database, the logger must retake the ProLogger base class.
