programs strive to provide information on how these functions can be
performed in the most efficient, safe and environmentally sound manner.

The NCFA's ProLogger
Program is committed to raising the awareness among the logging workforce
for safety, business and the environment through the base ProLogger course
and a continuing education element that requires one mandatory class be taken annually.
The
mandatory class for 2008 is called Module 8 and will be offered throughout the state at various community colleges and forest products facilities. All courses are free to ProLoggers. ProLoggers must complete this course by June 30, 2008. The annual dues of $100 must be received by July 31st of 2008 to maintain a spot in the ProLogger ranks.
