Forestry
Mutual
The NCFA recognizes that many forestry activities, including logging,
transportation and sawmill operations, are dangerous. To help businesses and
employees protect against the inherent risks in these type jobs, Forestry
Mutual provides several endorsed insurance programs including a workers
compensation program, Pennsylvania Lumbermen’s Mutual safety programs, and
coverage for mobile equipment, commercial automobiles and comprehensive
general liability. For information on these and other insurance programs,
call Forestry Mutual at (800) 849-7788 or visit Forestry Mutual
online at www.forestrymutual.com.

Liability Insurance policy for landowners and hunt clubs is designed to
cover hunt club activities on any NCFA member’s land that is leased to a
hunt club Click

Legislative
Affairs
The NCFA's staff actively represents the association and its members with
the state legislature, regulatory bodies and the N.C. congressional
delegation. This includes direct contact with legislative representatives,
offering testimony on key issues, briefing legislators and conducting tours
to educate them on forestry and forest management. The association
aggressively seeks legislation to improve forest management and to protect
landowners and their private property rights. To keep its members abreast of
legislative and regulatory issues affecting them and their land, the NCFA
holds local workshops and publishes updates on key issues and association
activities in a monthly newsletter. Click
