North Carolina Friends of Forestry Political Action Committee (FFPAC) is an independent, non-partisan organization of individuals interested in the policies and regulations that affect North Carolina’s natural resources and forest based economy. It is registered with the state board of elections and adheres to North Carolina’s statutory requirements. FFPAC does not offer support in federal elections.
Mission: Champion forestry/agricultural interests by organizing more effective political action and by creating awareness among candidates of the importance of forestry to the economy and the environment, thus carrying out its civic responsibility.
You can contribute to the FFPAC by participating in our fundraising events throughout the year, like the reverse raffle, or by downloading the donation form below and mailing in your contribution.
Any contributions made to the FFPAC must be personal funds. For example, the FFPAC cannot accept a donation on a company check or company credit card. As a reminder, donations to the FFPAC are not tax deductible. Contributors may not make donations in excess of $5,600 per election.
All monies solicited shall be voluntary contributions and may not be secured by physical force, job discrimination or financial reprisals, or by due, fees, or other monies required as a condition of membership or employment, or as a requirement with respect to any terms or conditions of employment.
Additionally, North Carolina law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, job title, or profession and name of employer or employer’s specific field for each individual whose contributions aggregate is in excess of $50 in an election cycle.
FFPAC Board members determine who to support and how much will be contributed to an individual campaign. The Board will request and accept advice from all FFPAC contributors and others knowledgeable about candidates. For questions, please reach out to NCFA by calling (800) 231-7723.
