Jeremy Flowers, owner of Flowers Timber Company in Seven Springs, NC, was awarded the 2022 Ag Exporter of the Year this week. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler presented Flowers the award at the 17th Annual Ag Development Forum during the Southern Farm Show. According to Troxler, Flowers Timber Company brings in an average of $10 to $12 million in exports per year and brought in $15 million in 2022. Flowers was established in 1976 and now exports timber to China, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Cambodia, and Spain.
