Active ProLogger and Hold List

ProLogger Active List

In an effort to track the progress of the annual module-training requirement for the ProLogger program, the NCFA maintains an up-to-date database of all active ProLoggers. This feature is only accessible to NCFA members.

A ProLogger can find his/her current status by signing in the NCFA’s Member Portal. ProLoggers can use their ProLogger ID number as the username and password to log in initially. ProLoggers are encouraged to change their username and password in addition to updating their contact information if it has changed. In the Member Portal ProLoggers will be able to view the following information: attended the current module training or not, paid his/her dues, when his/her certification expires, and how long he/she has been a ProLogger.

The Active ProLogger List is also available as an NCFA member company benefit. Member companies can access the updated Active ProLogger List by clicking the button above, and signing in with their company’s login information. Member companies if you need assistance with your login information, please contact the NCFA office at (919) 834-3943.

When viewing a ProLogger listing please note: the Manual Class (marked either Yes or No), Yes signifies the ProLogger has taken the current annual training Module, No means he/she has to take the current Module class. Dues Paid is also denoted by either Yes or No. The ProLogger year runs from June 30-June 30 each year with a 30-day grace period on final payment. Once a ProLogger has paid his/her dues, and fulfilled the current module-training requirement, his/her status will move to current thru August 1, of the next year.

All ProLoggers who have met the annual module-training requirement and paid their dues for the ProLogger year will have their information updated in NCFA’s ProLogger database.

ProLogger Hold List

The NCFA maintains a ProLogger Hold List for all professional loggers who would like to become NCFA ProLoggers, but have not had the opportunity to take the required Base Course yet. A professional logger is not added to the ProLogger Hold List until the NCFA office staff have received all information, including payment. Once a logger is added to the Hold List, they are registered for the next available class. The Base Class DOES NOT have a restricted limit of participants.

The ProLogger Hold List is password protected for NCFA member companies.

ProLogger Hold List

While most of the companies participating in the ProLogger and SFI programs recognize the NCFA ProLogger Hold List as an intent to take the next available Base Class and will accept wood from professional loggers on the ProLogger Hold List. It is your responsibility to contact the company representative to confirm that. Loggers will only stay on the list for one year. If after a year, a professional logger has not taken the Base Course, the logger will be removed from the Hold List.

Professional loggers and arborists who would like to take the base course should download the registration form (available from the ProLogger home page) and either mail it to the NCFA office with a check/credit card number or fax it to the NCFA office at (919) 832-6188.
