Abigail Ridge

Abigail is instrumental in helping the NCFA develop and execute education programs, including the Sustainable Forestry Teachers Experience, career events statewide, the scholarship program, and the Forest Products Week essay contest. In addition, she has coordinated the development of a high school forestry course for NC Agricultural Education as well as adopted the Forestry Works Forest Worker Credential Program for NC. Abigail served as an NCFA education intern since 2021 and has been integral to the education programs and the NCFA as a whole. Abigail graduated from North Carolina State University in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology with a concentration in Wildlife Sciences, and received minors in Environmental Education, Entomology, and Plant Biology.
