Carmela is a sophomore at NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education with minors in Animal Science and Horticultural Science. Originally from Wake Forest, NC, she brings a strong passion for agriculture, education, and the outdoors, developed through a variety of leadership organizations, classes, and hands-on experiences, along with an eagerness to learn as much as she can about forestry. She is excited to gain valuable hands-on experience and learn more about North Carolina’s forestry industry as she works toward becoming a future agriculture teacher.
