Mike started his career as a procurement forester in central North Carolina and southern Virginia, where his primary roles included managing logging operations, working with local landowners and consultants, while maintaining relationships with mill representatives.
Rooted in a deep admiration for the forest products supply chain Mike has spent the past two and a half years as a client solutions specialist at Forest2Market. In this role Mike leveraged analytical tools to provide support for sawmills, pulp and paper mills, forestry professionals, and landowners to better understand the inner workings of the forest products supply chain. He has appeared as a guest speaker for many conferences including the Society of American Foresters and has continued to advocate for the forest products industry, including lobbying for policy change in Washington.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from North Carolina State University and is currently a North Carolina Registered Forester.
